Question about Computers & Internet

MSWorks 2000/Vista I have recently bought a new pc running Vista and am re-loading my existing software packages. MS Money is included in the Works2000 suite but it I can't load it within Vista. Is this a known fixable problem or do I need to upgrade MS Money?

MS Money 2000 - well I assume its that as it was included on the Works 2000 CD. Sorry it won't open so I can't be more precise.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

How do I know my product key

Your product key should be on the cover of the packaging of the cd you bought and used to install ms office - If you don't have the packaging any more, or didn't get a cd (office may have been already installed when you bought the pc/laptop) then you can download and run a program called 'Belarc Advisor' to find out the current key - it will tell you what hardware you have, what software you have including the current keys for that software, and what updates have been installed or are missing - If office isn't working the existing key may be for a trial version or the office software may need to be activated - In this case call Microsoft for further assistance - Unfortunately if the current installation of office is unlicensed or pirated, you'll need to buy a new copy

Customize microsoft works

MS Works is an all-in-one application. You would need to install the entire package.
A better choice would be to go with Google and use their (FREE!) calendar. It will integrate into many apps and is more up-to-date than MSWorks, which has been discontinued by Microsoft.

I need my product key to start MS Publisher

The 25-character product key is found either:
* on the packaging if you purchased the software at a retail store,
* in your E-mail, if you made an online purchase.

If you recently bought a new computer, it could have had a "trial" version of MS Publisher installed. After the end of the trial-period, usually 30 to 60 days, you must either stop using the software, or follow the on-screen instructions to make an online purchase of a license-key.

Unfortunately, Windows Easy Transfer is not supported on Windows 2000. So I would suggest you to return this cable back and use the manual method of transfer of data from one computer to another. Thanks. Abhishek

I don't think that Powerpoint 2000 is compatible with Vista. You need to upgrade to at least 2007 to get it to work. It's happening because the photo editing software has a compatibility issue.

PC Backup doesn't work with Windows Vista

You must check the package to ensure that the program is windows vista compatable. Please do note that Vista does have its own back software embedded. Simply type into the start search bar on the start menu backup and recovery.
