Re: Copy from Built in memory to SD Card
Are you sure you have the dmclz2 - because the only thing i can think of is:
A: the SD card is not recognized by the camera in the menus - thus no option for copying (though generally it would be there just not selectable)
B: you have a different camera - aspect conv. option is nowhere to be found on the LZ2 from what I can tell.
is this the model number off of the camera itself? if not, try and find that on a sticker on the bottom of the camera. hopefully this will clear things up. good luck.

I thought I already answered this one yesterday. But here it comes again. In the manual on page 73: Copy to Card (Copy internal memory to memory card) Use this setting to copy the files stored in the internal memory to the memory card.
Select the Copy to memory card setting from the Setup menu as described previously.
Use the Up/Down navigation buttons to select Yes or No. Then press the (Func Ok) button to confirm.
Don't forget to format the memory card first. do it in the camera and not in a FC or MAC. Be sure you are using the right memory card. You can use a SD or a SDHC card. Don't try a SDXC card, because it is to big and the camera software can't handle these cards.
You can use the Copy command in the Playback menu to copy your images from the internal memory to the SD card. Full details are in the "Copying Files" section of the manual (page 95 in my copy). If you need a manual, you may download a copy here.
With a formatted card installed in the camera, press the MENU button, select the Playback menu (right-pointing triangle), then select the "Copy" command.Full details are in the "Copy" subsection of the "Playback Options: The Playback Menu" section of the manual (page 134 in my copy). If you need a manual, you may download a copy here.
Put the card in the camera. Press the Playback button (right-pointing triangle). Yes, you won't see any pictures from the internal memory with the card in. Press MENU/OK to bring up the playback menu. Use cursor-up/down to highlight "Copy" and press cursor-right. Press cursor-up/down to select "INTERNAL MEMORY TO CARD" and press cursor-right. Select the desired option and press MENU/OK.

If you have a working connection between your camera and your computer, then simply remove the memory card before making the connection. You'll be able to transfer the pictures from the internal memory, since the card is not present.
To copy pictures from the internal memory to the card, use the Copy command in the Playback menu. Full details are in the "Copy (Copy Between Internal Memory and Memory Card)" section of the manual (page 100 in my copy).
You can copy pictures from the internal memory to the memory card by using the Copy command in the Playback menu. Press the MENU button in playback mode. Use cursor-up/down to select "Copy image/sound" and press cursor-right. Select the camera-icon-right-arrow-"SD" and press the OK button.
