I did the same thing. be careful of the high voltage anode wire--other than that, it's not a hard fix. I'd be interested in knowing how it works out for you. I added two pancake fans to my IC's to keep them cooler. So far it's worked out really good. Good luck.

I'm having the same issue with my Toshiba 50H72, constantly flickering, like a power problem, however, it almost completely clears up when I switch the input to a HD input. Any idea what I can do to fix it? Is there some part that I could replace to fix this? I don't want to buy a new set yet, if it's a minor repair. Thanks, Larry
