Disconnect the spark plug wire and ensure that the plug cap is some distance from the spark plug.

Remove the center cover cap (Pry off) and then remove the mounting bolt by turning it Counter clockwise while holding the blade to prevent rotation. Pull off the old blade and remove the center hub housing from the old blade. Transfer the center hub housing and install the new blade. Tighten the bolt CLOCKWISE while holding the blade until it is tight. Make sure you use a 6 point socket! Using a 12 point socket will result in the socket slipping and personal injury.

Re-connect the spark plug wire and your ready to mow again.

Renewing the cutting deck on a lr 135

To renew the cutting deck on an LR 135 (assuming it refers to a specific model), you can follow these general steps:
  1. Safety first: Ensure the lawnmower is turned off, and disconnect the spark plug wire to prevent accidental starting.
  2. Remove the old cutting deck: Depending on the specific design of your lawnmower, you may need to remove any side panels, belts, or other components that connect the cutting deck to the mower. Follow the instructions provided in the lawnmower's manual or consult the manufacturer for guidance on removing the cutting deck.
  3. Prepare the new cutting deck: Ensure you have the correct replacement cutting deck for your LR 135 model. Compare it to the old deck to ensure they are the same size and have the necessary mounting points.
  4. Install the new cutting deck: Align the new cutting deck with the mounting points on the lawnmower. Carefully reattach any belts, side panels, or other components that were removed in the previous step. Make sure the deck is securely attached and properly aligned.
  5. Reconnect the spark plug wire: Once the new cutting deck is installed, reconnect the spark plug wire to the spark plug.
  6. Test and adjust: Before using the lawnmower, it's important to test the new cutting deck and make any necessary adjustments. Start the lawnmower and listen for any unusual noises or vibrations. Ensure the cutting height is set correctly and that the blades are properly aligned.

I can’t find where to purchase new blades for my Talon AM 3040 lawnmower It has 145 Surefire 4 stroke but I don’t any more than that and haven’t got a manual.

I found if I need new blades I take the old ones with me and go to different stores that sells blades. Quite often the store personal will help match them. Once I could not find any to match so they had me purchase the out fit that the new blades will go on. Make sure your center drive is the same size. Costs more that way but at least I never had to buy a new mower.

Flymo tines

What are you referring to as tines, it sounds like you are working on a roto-tiller. I will need more info as well. Model# Unit type-ie. lawnmower. Are talking about the blades? If so the there is a large nut that bolts the blade to the lawnmower. Remove bolt by holding blade with gloved hand and long breaker bar. You can strike the breaker bar with a three pound hand sledge to break it loose. Replace or sharpen blade as necessary. Apply grease or never-seize ti threads on crankshaft, spin on the bolt and tighten with long breaker bar. Good luck!!!!! If this is a tiller, then let us know, ok?

How do I attach the replacement blade on my B&D jigsaw model 7504? I have the replacement blade but don't know how to attach it....

Locate the small hole with the screw inside it directly above the handle, which usually is in line with the blade. Loosen the screw with a flathead screwdriver. Once the screw is loose, gently pull the blade out from the unit .. this works with older Jigsaws for newer ones ,,Locate the release button just above the portal where the blade enters the body of the unit. Depress the button and gently pull the blade out from the unit.

Insert the new blade into the same portal that the old blade was removed from while depressing the release button. Ensure that the new blade is facing the same direction that the old blade faced. Once the blade is fully inserted into the portal, let go of the release button.
