Re: My NOKIA E62 does not let me open text messages, or...
You should try to remove all audio files as well. The record button is a nuisance and typically there are several audio files that fill the memory card which then causes snags in being able to open applications and/or messages. Just go to the "my stuff" folder and then go to audio tracks and check there for unnecessary files. If that's not it, you may need to change the sending options. Once you create your message, go to the "options", then "sending options", then check that AWS is chosen as the Msg. center in use.

for sending text messages : 1.go to your message settings and check the message center number to see if it is correct 2. call to your network operator customer care 3. request the message center number... 4.note it down 5. go to message settings>message center number 6. insert the number which is noted by you and save it
It depends on what you're talking about. If it's text messaging, you can change the sending options once you've started to create a message. You would simply choose, new message, then options, and sending options. However, if you're talking about email - go to "Messaging", then click the "Options" key. From there choose settings. You will then need to choose the specific messaging option that you would like to change the options for. If you're choosing email - then click email, then "Options" and Open. You would then scroll down to the account that's set up and click Options and choose "Edit." Now you can update/change all of the settings to whatever you need.
