Go into your menu. Sounds like your Parental lock might be "on". You should be able to solve your problem in the menu. Keever

Padlock, blue screen

Somehow in handling the remote control I pushed a button or combination of buttons and now have a blue screen with a lock symbol in red in the top left hand corner. I've tried turning the tv off, and unplugging it, as well as a combination of buttons on the remote, but it still is there.
What do I need to do to remove the lock?

Hi please help me

Hi chooky

The set is in childlock mode, and will need to be deactivated. Try pressing the + key in the right bottom corner of the remote for at least 5 seconds. See how you go, and please post me back if it didnt work and I will keep looking for a solution for you.

A FixYa rating would be great if it fixes it.:)

Blue screen and red padlock

It sounds to me like a child lock function, which is usually what the screen + padlock is on TVs. Usually your original remote would have a button / sequence to unlock the mode. If you still have your original remote, look for a child lock button or refer to your remote manual (and/or TV manual for the child lock feature) to unlock the mode.
