You need to check if you have horizontal drive to the base of the horizontal out transistor. With a scope check the primary and secondary of the horizontal drive transformer to find out where you are losing the drive.
Disconnect the base of horizontal drive transistor, and now check it collector voltage. If it is found OK; [almost equal to its iput voltage]; check the voltage that comes to its base, from the IC pin. It should be below 0.1 to 0.25V. If found higher than this, the IC is faulty. This may be needing a horizontal drive kit. Unplug the CRT socket, to see if the TV will stay on. Also, look for discolored surface mount parts in the horizontal drive section that may be causing the problem.
it is common fault in LG TV..there will be loose contact in video driver board (attached to the tube)or vedio driver ic tda 6107 may be faulty..in rare cases the horizontal driver trans fomer will be gone..consult any service men
TDA 8362B IC which have vertical freq.output is at pin no.43. (vert.osc)
for fixing this problem minimise brightness to avoid crt burn.
proceed as follows
1 if you are getting sawtooth at output of ic tda 8362 pin 43 then check
1 supply at vertical output ic from eht.
2 yoke connector loose .
3 check vertical output ic parts.
4 finally vertical ic.
please check for normal output from power supply even though fault gets rectified just for protection.
