Question about Raynox Cameras
I suspect I am a bit optimistic, but I wonder if anyone can help me!
I have an 8 mm cine projector that 'works' but there is a problem with the film transport mechanism. The film judders when running through the lens aperture in a forward direction giving a useless projected image. However, when rewinding the film through the same mechanism the picture is excellent. I guess it has to do with the automatic tensioning device but I have no idea where to start to adjust it. ANY advice offered will be very welcome, as I want to transfer film to DVD.
Thanks in anticipation!
Is there a camera or video club where you live ? one of the older members may have had experience of this, and be able to help you

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Does the lens have an aperture ring? If so, some such lenses also has a 'lock' (a tiny button near the narrowest aperture) enabling it to be used with cameras having CPU contacts. Check if your lens has this.
