Samsung J1045 Front Loading Washing Machine Loud Banging Noise

The machine makes a loud banging noise when the drum is rotating. It sounds like its hitting something on each rotation. I have found pieces of what looks like industrial staples in the drainage outlet.

I have not lost anything from my washing that would cause this.

My main concern is that it is going to be a costly and time consuming fix by a repair person. Any hints about what it could be would be great!

Thankyou kindly,
Scarlet

If you remove the 5 shipping bolts at the back of the washer, it will enable the drum to balance on rotation

Yes this was very helpful. As I like a typical man only read the instructions after it was installed and not working .

thanks

Remove the 5 shipping bolts at the back of the washer, this will enable the drum to rotae evenly and not make the banking sound

Have you checked that the 5 shipping bolts on the back panel have been removed, when removed this will auto balance the washing chamber and during the spin cycle the drum will rotate evenly.

Throw it off a cliff. I have the same model and have had so many problems. Don't even bother calling customer service, they won't help. Cut your losses and buy a new machine

Hello, washing machine is mounted on two supports, if it is damaged first which is where the engine so both need to be replaced because they wear out. If you're just a little handy so you know it himself .Ak you order parts so precisely that type because they are different .

Kenmore front loading washer drum is loose and makes loud noise when spinning?

sounds like support springs for the drum have become detached or broken. Do not use, suggest new machine as old ones not worth the investment.

Washing machine making loud banging cracking noise.

Sounds like something's got between the drum and tub and is resting on the heater element. Remove the heater and check in the gap

Suspension/Damping stut has failed , you need a new one pronto

Worst case is that the inner drum has come loose from the mounting on the back

Loud banging

Several possibilities for noise. check concrete balance wieghts at top and bottom of washer, make sure they are not loose.
Check drum restraint spring(s) are not broken.
Check suspension legs for wear.
Check for loose motor fixings.
Finally, remove drum belt, and spin drum by hand, tjhere should be noise from bearings, if it feels rough or is rumbling , then main bearings have failed.
Please rate my comments.
Thanks.

Loud banging noise when machine goes into spin mode. sounds like it is banging on the side. Please help !

Usually this is an out-of-balance condition caused by too much weight on one side of the tub, move the clothes around and try again.

Very loud banging noise when spinning

sounds like a balance problem may be when the drum was replaced they didn't fit the new drum in the correct spot the other thing that would cause load banging and excessive vibrations in the machine is if the shockers are worn out,
believe it our not even washing machines have shockers to dampen the movement of the drum spinning
