Question about Sony MBX-49 ASSY Motherboard
Had my charger plugged into laptop was working fine, next night tried to power up laptop nothing. There isn't even a LED showing on the laptop that the charger is plug in nothing. Have checked power from charger and thats ok.
HELP! my sony viao made a little "click" sound and just died on me. What can this be? It's been having battery issues for a while now, and I have been charging it constantly. There is not light showing at all! not even the battery symbol. The adapter is showing a green light. can someone tell me if this is fixable and how much?

First you need to insure your power supply is putting out the required voltage. that will be the least of your problem. your plug on your mother boiard could be damaged and not delivering voltage to the battery. in that case you will need a new mother board.if you have ever picked up your laptop without unplugging it and pulled aganst the plug socket you can cause damage to the socket resulting in poor battery charge resulting in the failure your experiencing

Laptop motherboard power pin, broken solder connections. Quite common on all laptops. Can be bought from ebay for cheap, if you are mechanically inclined and can solder you should be able to repair it yourself, if not need to find someone who is good at electonics and have them repair it for you.

If you do this (you remove your Laptop main battery and adaptor for aprox 10 min then
fix again battery and adaptor then on power button m/c is on.)
if thers no function maybe theres a problem in the inside Motherboard of your laptop, try to open inside and trace the supply circuit division chek the fuse.
