thanks, i tried that but when i press 'clean up messages' it says 'delete message complete' but in actual reality it does nothing at all. The only answer i can see is to delete one by one in the inbox AND the outbox which takes forever. I normally send abouta hundred messages a day so this method is driving me insane. :(

    Hi there
I tried that, by pressing clean up messages it then says message delete complete but it in actual reality does nothing at all. since i send over a 100 texts a day i find deleting one by one in the inbox AND the outbox incredibly frustrating and time consuming. I've no idea whats wrong, i've tried searching in my settings to see if i need to activate something but i cant see anything there at all.
    :(

I've had the same problem with the phone not automatically cleaning up the messages. Doing a master clear on it gets it cleaning up automatically again. I think it might be something to do with the clock setting - if you set it to update the clock automatically the time goes all over the place!

First go to message icon and press the message and then press the upper small button and select the delete word. and if you want to delete all just select the clean up word or simply go to inbox and markit all and delete

Is it possible to recover a deleted voice message from a Philips CD135 phone? The manual says no, but does anyone know of a hack?

Some of us IT tech\'s probably know how, but hacking in any form is illegal - make a habit of saving your messages next time around. For now the message is deleted and lost forever...So put the matter to bed...life goes on.

When receiving text messages sometimes I receive a random assortment of symbols instead of text. Its a nuisance to me and those who text me. How can i resolve this issue?

You phone is not supporting the media that your friends are sending to you. Perhaps your friends are having more advanced phones and they must be sending some animated texts that wont support your phone. Unless your phone software is faulty this could be the issue and you can ask your friends to test out with plain test to confirm. IF this is not the case try resetting the phone to factory settings. Since you have not mentioned the make/model of the phone , I hope this advice helps. Good day.

Does anyone know how to put an inbox security code on the LG KP500, or LG Cookie as its more known. I need to lock my inbox!

Do not lock your inbox as you will forget the code one day and join the 30% crowd on this site. Instead, if it is only for you inbox for email, then do not ask the phone to remeber the password. But if it is for the sms msgs then use settings to save it on the card and password protect the card. Anyone including you will have to supply the password to access the card everytime you need to. (A big nuisance in the long run.) Why not delete the dangerous sms?
