Question about HP iPAQ H1940 Pocket PC
HP has released an update to the iPAQ h1900 series. This update fixes the problem of the calender jumping around to different dates. Whenever I try to install it, it copies a .cab file to my device, but it won't install.
Here's the update:
HP iPAQ h1900 Series Pocket PC - Real Time Clock Update
Were you able to install this update? And what ROM version do you have? Someone I know who was able to install never updated the ROM to v1.10.
1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive.
The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with
a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above. 2. Establish an Activesync connection between your iPAQ Pocket
PC and host PC.
3. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions
to install the Real Time Update.
4. Follow the instructions to perform a normal reset on the iPAQ Pocket PC.
on step 3 you should see the setup on your pdas screen do you see this?
Waiting for your reply. :)
