My husband, best friend and myself all have the Kyocera Lingo and it beeps constantly for no reason. It will stop for a few days then come back to annoy us. WTF? I like my phone but it gets annoying. Does Kyocera know or even care?

I had the same problem. I found a recommendation to disable message alerts, then power off/on the kyocera (mine is a Marbl). This seems to have done it for me. It may have just been the powering off/on that did it. Try that first.

My Kyocera phone has been beeping every 5 minutes for several days. The only way I could make it stop was to turn my phone to silent, but then I missed all my calls and texts. I finally called my carrier and they told me how to fix it. I had to take the battery out while the phone was turned ON. After removing the battery, I had to hold the send button down for 15-20 seconds (while the battery was still out), then replace the battery and turn the phone back on. This apparently resets the phone. I waited 30 minutes before posting this solution, and the phone has not beeped again!!!

set your sounds to silent: settings: alerts: disable all the minute alerts. I've had mine since the day it came out and I've never had a single problem with it (other than the inability to resize the highest resolution photos to a size that will send.

Same here, started yesterday. All alerts are off. Going to return the phone.

Mine started beeping every 5 minutes and it's really pissing me off now. I've deleted all call histories, all text messages, every damned thing in the phone but the beep goes on. I've got the Kyocera K312 flip phone. I disabled ALL alert features but it makes no difference. I think I'm going to have to raise hell at the store about it. Argh!!
