Hi blythkid

Your unit has probably popped a mains fuse in the power up down. If you are keen, disconnect the unit from the power and take the lid off. Check for any blown fuses and replace with EXACTLY the same type. If you are not sure what the correct fuse is... get back to me here and I will help you further. Good luck

Graeme

At least you got the HiFi hey... Black fuses often indicate power surge... good luck with everything mate. Just be sure to get a T (timelag) fuse to replace it. A FixYa rating for the advice would really help my profile. Hope it all works out for ya:)

    regards
    Graeme

Hi again, yup, you got it, that is the correct fuse. If it blows again when you fire it up, there may be further damage, of which you will need a meter to check a few things. Good luck

    regards

I have a rx570 and we were hooking up speakers to it and I think we got the wires crossed cause all of a sudden the power went off and won't come back on. Is there a fuse I can replace?

There are a few solid state fuses inside but if the speaker wires were shorted then it required an authorised Pioneer service centre to repair the damaged amplifiers section.

My stove panel went blank.

You will need to replace the clock/timer on the unit. Here is that part to order.

Sound doesn't work on television. Worked fine yesterday and doesn't work today. I can hear sound from the cable box going to my surround sound, however nothing to the television. I know the power went...

Sounds like there was a power surge that caused the audio processor in the TV to go out. This is fixed by replacing the main board.

The power supply board in the TV should also be checked as that could have been damaged as well. These are usually the first to go out from a power surge. Get a good surge protector to help prevent this in the future.

Oven display won't work

rmedrano, Try pressing and holding the stop-time and cancel pads together for 5 seconds, see if it comes back to life. If not, try the cancel and clock keypads together for 3 seconds. First is the control lock-out funtion and the second is the display blank mode. If these fail to work, you are going to have to test for power at the board. The clock (ERC) has a 3 year warranty incase you have to call for service. Catriver.post back.
