Hi blythkid
Your unit has probably popped a mains fuse in the power up down. If you are keen, disconnect the unit from the power and take the lid off. Check for any blown fuses and replace with EXACTLY the same type. If you are not sure what the correct fuse is... get back to me here and I will help you further. Good luck

At least you got the HiFi hey... Black fuses often indicate power surge... good luck with everything mate. Just be sure to get a T (timelag) fuse to replace it. A FixYa rating for the advice would really help my profile. Hope it all works out for ya:)

Hi again, yup, you got it, that is the correct fuse. If it blows again when you fire it up, there may be further damage, of which you will need a meter to check a few things. Good luck

In Australia... oh and i forgot to mention... 125v or 230v does not matter, it just has to be a Timelag and 6.3A Its the current and type thats important. The same fuse will blow on spec with 12v across it.
