What is a UL rated clothes basket and where do you purchase one?

Make sure load is properly sorted with like materials and paired up, do not mix things like towels with pants or shirts all together as different items absorb more water then others and can create unbalance when trying to enter final spin. If issue continues, it is very possible and item of clothing may have found itself stuck between spin basket and outer tub. This is very likely scenario due to design of this washer. If that is the case, spin basket must be removed then remove clothing to resolve issues.

First, OL/UL stands for "Overload", so in other words, the washer things the tub is too hard to move because it's overloaded and the motor is struggling or the unit is way out of balance causing the washer to struggle. The most common problem is a nut below the inner tub that needs to "float". Floating is when the tub fills up with water to a certain level the inner basket will rise about 1 inch from the center agitator. What this does is disengage the basket from the motor so that the agitator can rotate independently from the basket. If the basket does not float then when it tries to agitate the whole basket will turn back and forth at the same speed as the agitator and this will cause the OL/UL error code.

I have the same issue. when I remove the wash basket from the tub the plastic parts all seem to have a lot of water trapped inside them. I am looking for a solution and may start my own question. not getting any fault code at all the washer runs as designed. but the dirty water trapped in the plastic top of and bottom of the wash basket is making the clean clothes smell like a dirty dish rag.

If the washer is shaking and actually going out of balance and generating the UL error and the drum is empty the most likely cause of this problem is something under the spin basket.Clothes can end up under the spin basket and cause it to turn crocked and cause the out of balance. If the washer throws an UL error code with out any clothes in the washer then the issue must be concerned with the mechanical alignment inside the machine or a bad CCU.

The most common problem which can cause this is some sort of mechanical hinderance which does not allow the basket to move freely.

The suspension system which holds the basket in its place might be faulty and causing the unbalancing. In this model i think there are plastic ring at the bottom of the basket . Even if they are worn out or moved out of position it may cause the UL error code you are facing

Grab hold of the inner basket & pull up & down. Does it move up & down? If not clothing is stuck between the inner & outer basket. Tilt the unit back & use a flash light & shine it through the clear plastic & see if you see clothes in it.

The ul and ol are unbalance load and over load.

I would suspect the suspension rods, if you look you can see the tub is suspended by 4 rods (10 in image) and spring loaded shock built into them.



The crack in the stator is nothing that should cause any worry about.

If the suspension rods, springs and holders are all okay the next likely suspect is the basket itself.
