Question...........Reference cooling Fans

I need to know what part of the refrigerator tells the condensor cooling fan, and the cooling fan inside the freezer to turn on........Would this be the circuit board???
My unit turns on the condensor ....but the fan is off...
Also the freezer coils start to get very cold.....but the fan is also off...... Could this a defective circuit board??

Yes, there is usually a relay or two on the circuit board to turn on the compressor and the fan motors. either the points of one or both relays are burned or there might be a burned conductor path on the board. if the latter is the case, there would have to be a reason it burned. in other words, just fixing the burned conductor path wont fix the problem, most likely. unless someone was messing around and shorted something, or moisture shorted something, the latter being pretty unlikely. relays burn with normal use. if it is a relay, you can check and fix it by removing the circuit board (after disconnecting power to the unit first), use a real small screw driver, like for glasses, a soldering gun or iron. remove the relay/relays. they are rectangular usually about 3/4 by 1 inch and black in color, take apart and sand points. one piece cover goes around all 4 sides and the top and youll probably crack the cover getting it off, dont worry, you can fill any cracks with epoxy putty or ......

Samsung rs2630Ww. internal refrig fan blower not working and water dispenser not working.

This problem could be caused by the motherboard having defective relays, bad fan motor=> DA31-00103A Fan Motor Sounds like someone will need to examine the fan motor and test the voltage to the fans inside and outside the refrigerator. You will need to have this done to eliminate what the cause is. Both condensor and evaporator fan motors are the same part=> DA31-00103A Fan Motor Let me know and I will explain how to remove, test or replace the freezer/evaporator fan motor, wiring or motherboart. Thanks Sea Breeze

sounds like the compressor is not running. The condenser fans are located at the compressor. The fans in the conditioned space are the evap fans. A refrig usually does not have any device controlling the evap fans, they are to run 24/7. Freezers have other controls. Start there and let me know if I can help further.

Check the compressor relay. All fans should be running when the compressor is except during post dwell. In post dwell the compressor and fan con on but the inside ones do not come on for a specified time. SEE ADC how it works.

Inside strip of fridge is very hot. cleaned out behind fridge and the coils, etc. fan is barely moving/not moving. any suggestions???

Replace the fan. The strip has a freon line running behind it, and when it is hot, this tells us that you have a dirty condensor, bad condensor fan motor, bad evaporator fan motor, defrost problem, or a freon system problem. When you say your fan is barely moving, I am assuming this is your condensor fan motor, which sucks air through the hot freon lines in the condensor coils, and cools the freon off. If it is barely moving, it can't cool the freon. In some brands a slow moving condensor fan can be caused by a bad main control board. Good Luck, Appliance Specialists

I want to know about refrigerater but without compressor ,How it run ,Which technology use it

A refrig doesn't cool . It removes heat which is why the coils get hot . With the condensor mounted on the back of the fridge , air curculation dissipates the heat from the coils . Remember , this heat , is the heat being removed from the inside , by the refrigerant being pumped by the compressor . Some fridges , have a condensor fan to remove the heat from the bottom coils , and to keep the compressor cool . The thermostat , tells the compressor to cut off , when so much heat is removed from inside the ref . The property of refrigerants , is to attract heat , and since aluminum is a good conductor , the evaporator coils inside the freezer are made of aluminum . As the coils get colder , the fan inside the freezer , blows into the refrigerator , and returns to the freezer in a circular motion , thereby cooling the refrigerator . During defrost , wheather it be adaptive or mechanical , is to melt the frost accumulated on the aluminum freezer coils . If too much frost accumulation , the frost will act as an insulation , like the insulation on wire , then the ref. will not get cold .

The condensor fan cools the coils and compressor behind the refrigerator . The evaporator fan , fulls ait over the inside coils into the refrigerator section and is located inside the freezer (inside).

Clean Condensor coils below refrigerator first. Make sure fans below and inside freezer compartment are working. Send me the model number so I can help you better. Look at following areas for the model number
  • Beneath Or Inside Food Compartment On Cabinet Frame
  • On Plate Lower Front Or Rear Of Cabinet
  • Beside Compressor Door On Right End
  • Near Rear Of Cabinet
  • Inside Liner At Top

It is the compressor that has failed. The hum is it trying to start and the following click is the overload protector opening. What is the temperature where the refrigerator is located? Allow the compressor to cool down before trying to restart it. If it still does not restart after it has cooled off it is done.
