Question about Toshiba Satellite A205-S4607 Notebook PC
My computer was stolen from me and later I recovered it. somehow they managed to get into the system and changed all the configuration. Now Im stuck using the guest profile and I can't make any changes because the User control keeps popping up and I don't know the freaking password.
Since you are the owner, I will assume that you have the installation and recovery CDs (that came originally with the notebook when new). You may need to do a complete/fresh/clean install of the operating system. Of course that would erase all other applications which would then have to be likewise reinstalled.
Should the CDs be no longer available for whatever reason, you can use an OEM Windows installer and use the CD key/serial number on the sticker underneath your notebook.
Hope this be of help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
Good luck and kind regards,
Thank you for using FixYa.
