I just bought it and can't set it up?

The iPod Shuffle is one of the smallest MP3 players available. But with no screen and no buttons it is easy to see why you may find it difficult to use and, indeed, set up. In order to set the iPod Shuffle up, the first and most important thing that you should have is the latest version of iTunes running on your computer. Once you have this, and have followed a few steps, setting up the iPod Shuffle is really not too challenging.

Connect to the Internet and download the latest version of iTunes from the iTunes website. http://www.apple.com/uk/itunes/download/ Plug your iPod into your computer's USB port using the USB lead provided with your iPod Shuffle. Create a name for your iPod and type it into the "Name" box in the iPod setup window that appears on your screen. Check, or leave blank depending on how you wish to manage your iPod, the check boxes next to "Automatically sync songs to my iPod" and "Enable VoiceOver" below the "Name" box on the screen. Click on the "Done" tab in the bottom right of the screen when you have finished. Leave "Automatically sync songs to my iPod" unchecked and import songs manually by clicking on the "Music" header in the left-hand column and dragging the songs you want on your iPod into your named iPod file in the left hand-column, underneath "Devices." Alternatively, click in the "Music" tab and sync your songs by checking the boxes by specific artists, playlists and genres. Click on the "Apply" button in the bottom right-hand corner once you have chosen your settings. Click on the "Sync" tab in the bottom right corner when you have selected the music you wish to add if you have decided to add songs manually. Eject your iPod by clicking on the upward-pointing arrow to the right of your iPod's symbol underneath the "Devices" header on the left-hand side of the screen once it has finished syncing. Unplug your USB lead when the "OK to Disconnect" bar has finished loading at the top of the screen. Hope it helps.

My sister gave me an ipod shuffle while I was in the hospital. She can't find the instructions. HELP!

hey buddy!
its so easy. first of all download itunes from apple homepage. itunes is the software which connects ur ipod to the computer.install this in your computer and connect your ipod with the help of a usb cable given with ipod. open the software and there you find a name of your ipod. click my music button. there you were asked to drag and drop the songs you liked to sync. after you sending to my music, you go to ipod butto. there keep your option on my music and click "sync" button. after completing syncing, you can eject your ipod. switch on your ipod and enjoy your cool songs. if you have any doubts you can mail me to charantej19@gmail.com.
see you

Cant get songs onto ipod shuffle.(daughter has ipod touch)

Hi there,
When you go into the ipod section on iTunes, click the music tab, make sure 'sync music' is checked and 'selected playlists:' is also, then check the playlist you want to use. Click 'sync' button

If that don't work go back to the summary tab and hit 'restore' and follow the instructions to reset the ipod, resync and all should be fine.

All the best

How to delete music off of the ipod shuffle?

You can either do a restore:
Connect to your computer and open itunes.
When you first open itunes you should be in "Devices"
Make sure you're in the "Summary" tab and you will have a button that says "Restore"
Click that and it will do the rest.

Or
Sync with an itunes library that has no files on it, this will also remove the files from your ipod.
