We require to interface two parallel port printer (one printer near toPC and second printer distance from PC to printer 50mtr) to our PC(operating system windows 98) and Application software is dos based, both the printer will work at a time (same page will be print on both the printer).

This is a dot matrix printer made by TVS Electronics of India. It used the older parallel port interface (and had an optional serial interface). To hook it up, you'll need a PC with a parallel port, a parallel port cable and drivers. Most PC's no longer have parallel ports, so you'd need to add a parallel port card or use a USB to parallel port adapter. See: http://tvs-msp-printer-driver.blogspot.com/2009/02/download-msp-345-champion-plus-driver.html?m=1
Current printers no longer have the parallel port and neither do computers. The printer can be connected through USB, Ethernet or even Wireless. If the printer has a parallel printer port and none of the other means of communications you should look for an adapter USB-LPT.
The 'badint' error on the T6100 indicates the printers firmware has for some reason 'crashed', this error should not be seen in normal operation of the printer. One common cause of "BADINT" messages is the use of an external print server or host computer with incompatible parallel-port settings. If you have an external print server connected to the printer's parallel port there is a setting on the print parallel interface that may need changing, to change parallel interface setting. • Set the printer to Offline. • Press the Enter and LF keys together for approx 3 - 4 seconds. The alarm will sound. (Tech Access On) • Press the Mode key: display will show Offline Normal. • Press any Arrow key until display shows Offline Config. • Press the Forms/1 key. • Press any Arrow key until display shows Config Paralel. • Press the CPI/2 key. • Press any Arrow key until display shows Paralel Bi-Dir. • Press the LPI/3 key. • Press any Arrow key until display shows Bi-Dir Off. • Press the Enter key and the interface will be set. • Press the Clear key. • Press the Enter and LF keys together for approx 3 - 4 seconds. The alarm will sound. (Tech Access Off) On the external Print Server, you need to ensure that the unit is also set for Uni-directional working.
This error on the T6125 may be caused by either a hardware fault with the printer, alternatively the problem may be caused by some sort of external influence on the printer. Passable resolution to the problem include;
Locate the main logic board, check the CPU to ensure all pins are soldered correctly on the PCB. Check there is no solder over spill shorting any of the pins.
There may be a fault with the main logic board which may require replacement.
1) External Print Server
One of the most common causes for the LOST CPU error is the use of external print servers connected to the Parallel Interface.
These printers are not reliable if connected to external print servers unless the printer parallel interface has been set Uni-Directional. To do this, you need to follow these instructions. Set the printer to Offline. Press the Enter and LF keys together for approx 3 - 4 seconds. The alarm will sound. (Tech Access On) Press the Mode key: display will show Offline Normal. Press any Arrow key until display shows Offline Config. Press the Forms/1 key. Press any Arrow key until display shows ConfigParallel. Press the CPI/2 key. Press any Arrow key until display shows Parallel Bi-Dir. Press the LPI/3 key. Press any Arrow key until display shows Bi-Dir Off. Press the Enter key and the interface will be set. Press the Clear key. Press the Enter and LF keys together for approx 3 - 4 seconds. The alarm will sound. (Tech Access Off) On the external Print Server, you need to ensure that the unit is also set for Uni-directional working.
Check the area around the printer to ensure there is no external electrical interference eg Electric Motors, High Voltage Cables in near vicinity of the printer.
There might be a problem with your computer as well. Try printing with paralell cable to make sure the interface works at all. If the patalell-port works fine, try updating the printers firmware. Still problems ? Try with a different computer. If if works fine with another computer, then you know theres something wrong with your first computer. Good luck.
An interface on a computer to which you can connect a device. Personal computers have various types of ports. Internally, there are several ports for connecting disk drives, display screens, and keyboards. Externally, personal computers have ports for connecting modems, printers, mice, and other peripheral devices.
Almost all personal computers come with a serial RS-232C port or RS-422 port for connecting a modem or mouse and a parallel port for connecting a printer.
On PCs, the parallel port is a Centronics interface that uses a 25-pin connector. SCSI (Small Computer System Interface) ports support higher transmission speeds than do conventional ports and enable you to attach up to seven devices to the same port.
In TCP/IP and UDP networks, an endpoint to a logical connection. The port number identifies what type of port it is. For example, port 80 is used for HTTP traffic.

What connector/interface does your PC has
9-pin or 25-pin connector
If it has 9-pin connector: use the following: DB-9 RS-232 Serial Connection or DB-25 RS-232 Serial Connection
If it has 25-pin connector: use the following: DB-25 Serial Connection or
DB-25 RS-232 Serial Connection
If you are configuring the computer to use an RS-422A serial port, you need a special cable. Contact the computer or printer network manufacturer to see if an RS-422A cable is available. If no cable is available, contact your computer manufacturer for your computer pin assignments and have a cable constructed.
The default configuration for the serial port on the printer is for RS-232C serial communication. To set the printer to use RS-422A serial communication, change the control panel Serial Menu’s SERIAL setting to SERIAL=RS-422.
