My printer doesnt work it doenst switch on at all

If printer doesn't work and it doesn't switch on, I assumed that there is no power at all on the printer. Check the AC line voltage if it is correct.

Unplug the printer. Remove the LVPS/HVPS, and check the fuses for continuity.

• If open, then replace the LVPS/HVPS.
• If not open, then check the switch continuity across its conductors with the switch on.
Turn the switch off. Plug the AC line into the LVPS/HVPS, and switch unit on.

Please try reseat power cable. If this does not resolve the issue, you may need to replace the LVPS (Low voltage power supply) on your printer.

My printer is not working

Possible failure of the power supply unit. open and check for a fuse , if the fuse blows off then the SM driver , capacitor may be faulty , you can repair or replace.
However if power comes on then uninstall and reinstall the printer after disconnecting and try.
Helpful?

Lost our power and now it won't turn on.

Yes , usually you will need the manual to know how to replace it
In my experience the fuse blow due to something that is electrically faulty in the unit and changing the fuse does not remedy the issue. You may have a power supply issue that a reputable service tech will have to determine if it is malfunctioning in this area.

Says 122.05 Service fuser error on screen

A 122.05 or 122.06 Fuser error indicates that the printer/MFP has detected a problem with the fuser unit. A service call will probably be required to solve this issue. However, certain rare occurrences, such as a power fluctuation or a static discharge in the vicinity of the printer/MFP, can cause a false 122.05 or 122.06 error message to appear. In such cases, the error is only temporary and can be easily resolved without service.

Lets assume this is a power problem, do you have a digital or remote phone unit close to the printer or your computer,a) try moving it for a day or so to test to see if that is the problem b) is it connected to a power surge unit (if so take it out and plug directly into the outlet) power surge strips or units have fuses in them it may be going also.always remember shut down units properly for these test
shut down machine, then power up so the computer and the printer are reading eachother properly. if not go to http://support.lexmark.com/index?page=content&id=SO4745&actp=search&viewlocale=en_US&userlocale=EN_US&segment=SUPPORT&productCode=&searchid=1275926294153

Power failure

Unplug the power supply(the black box behind the printer where the power cord is attached) from the printer. With the power cord plugged in to a known working power outlet in the wall and the other end securely plugged in to the power supply, check for voltage output. If still none, Lexmark may be able to send you a new power supply for free. You can contact Lexmark at 1-800-LEXMARK(1-800-539-6275).

I consider not to do anything to your printer for there is no serviceable parts inside. If you done all the things to your printer like checking the power connections, then you must bring it to the nearest printer repair center in your place.
