Dvd burner

Hello, You'll need to remove side panels and front cover. CD ROM will slide in from the front. you'll see 2 screw holes on each side of drive and slots in housing of computer. Install 4 screwws. There are 2 cables to attach, power and data. If it is a Serial ATA(SATA) you'll need to use a serial data cable. Power can be either serial or 4 pin Molex cable(from power supply). If it is IDE ATA drive you'll need to use a ribbon cable for data and 4 pin molex for power.. It is a simple procedure. Once hardware is installed, reattached front cover and side panels. Boot computer, it will detect new hardware and ask to install from disk. Insert disk and follow directions. Hope this helps.
