Question about Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W55 Digital Camera
I bought a Nikon coolpix s200 for my daughter for christmas. The LCD screen is not working. Sent it back to Nikon who said the LCD screen does not fall under the warranty. They told her no company warranties the LCD screen. Is this true?
Sounds like Nikon are just trying to get out of fixing it.
Have you read the terms of the warranty. If the screen is not working then it is more than likely an electronic fault and they are covered by the warranty. The only way the screen would not be covered is if it was damaged by the owner. The screen is part of the camera and therefore comes under the warranty, unless it specifically states that it is not covered in the warranty. Ask a consumer rights department. Don't take no for an answer.
