Problem for Clarion DRX6375

Just installed my Clarion DXZ375MP and no sound - error message AMP_GRD

No sound comes out - Just the error AMP_GRD on the display comes up when i try to adjust the volume....
Got any ideas?

i had this problem, checking the wire stopped it, but now it randomly started again, i check all the wires, tried new ones and still saying amp_grd any other ideas c renner?

Charisse,

Check your speaker output wires - if they are shorted together that will cause the head unit's internal amp to go into a protection mode like that.
