I dropped my LG enV into a puddle of water.

Sounds like you will need a new battery. My env2 would only work if plugged into the wall charger after I dropped it in the toilet. I got a new battery and it works fine now!

Water Damage on my LG Rumour

You can always try taking it apart carefully and using Isopropyl Alcohol and a cotton swab to clean the button and connection. Let it completely dry and re-assemble.
It works for game controllers dropped in the toilet and TV Remotes dropped in the bathtub.
Besides, new Rumors™ are running upwards of $175, so you may as well try to fix it before you throw in the towel.

My LG Vu says Emergency download after I dropped it in water. And it won't do anything but go to that screen fell into the toilet and when i tried turning it on i saays Emergency Download

Take out the battery....then put it back in. Do not try to turn on the phone yet. Next plug the phone up to charge. Wait until the charging screen appears and then power the phone. Worked for me.....good luck.

My phone won't work anymore

not trying to be smart, but you might as well go out and buy another one. I had just bought a new samsung phone ($299.00) and it stopped charging after only 3 mths and therefore would not power on at all. The local wireless store would not do anything because it was 2 mths old and I got very poor customer service from Samsung. Good Luck

My phone in salt water.

To anyone who drops their phone in salt water. Get the battery out immediately. When you get home or sooner if you can put the phone in something that will allow fresh water to immerse it entirely. Keep water running in the container for about 3 days continually flushing the phone. Now take all of the water out and fill the container with 99% Isopropyl Alcohol. Let the phone dry out for at least 2-weeks before trying a fully charged battery in it and turn it on. Should work and you have just saved yourself buying a new one. Then don't leave it in your pocket when you go to the beach, drop it in a Ferry Salt Water Toilet, etc., where it it is immersed in salt water. If it is most cell phone providers will refuse to even look at it from their tech depts. A Radio Tech/Inspector in Canada.
