I diconected my battery on an 2001 mitsubisi mirage now my radio is just asking for a code i was just wondering how do i unlock it

Tellrepresentative that you replaced your battery and now need your radio code. Ifyou are not currently a registered owner, they will ask for your info forregistration.

The code is unique to every radio. Sometimes the radio code is written in the owners manual by a previous owner. If you can't find the code for the radio you will have to bring it to a mitsubishi dealer and have them get the code for you. They will probably charge you a small fee.

did ya try undo your battery wait replace cables...wont hurt to try.

You will have to take it to the dealer ship because the code is set by who owned it before or the person that activated the security on the radio. There is no way around that but take it to the dealer

you have to get ahold of the dealership and prove that you are the registered owner and they will give you the code

you will need to call the dealer that the car was purchased at and give them the last 6 digits of your V.I.N. and the guys should be able to look it up for you on the database
