The glass door on one of the ovens of my (white) double oven (Amana AOGD2750 WW) accidentally cracked. I cannot get a replacement part anywhere. Apparently, Amana stopped making this part in July of 2006! Any suggestions?

most common issue wsith these gas wall ovens is faulty ignitors, i would reccomnd replaing the ignitor(s). that being said i wouuld also reccomned a servicer with experience on this model for they can be a more tricky then ohter ranges out there, and the possiblity of "shorting out" adddiont al parts is higher on this model! and no one is currently producing a double self cleaning, full sized gas wall oven, so id hate to see you ruin this one!!!
It sounds like a bad igniter in that oven or a bad gas valve restricting the gas flow in that particular oven.
Unfortunately this will require hands on service!
How old is this wall oven? ngafm
Please give me a good rating before you sign of! If the appliance is 10 years old or more you may not be advisable to put good money into bad! New appliances are so much more efficient today that they can save you a lot of money in energy!!!! You need a hands on tech for this repair!
The only solution seems to be ordering a custom glass piece matching the dimension of the glass on the oven door. However, since my oven is white I would like the door to be white too. Although I have found glass guys who can tint the glass door dark, I have not found anyone who can color it white. Let me know if anyone knows such a glass vendor.
