Question about Nokia N80 Cellular Phone
I've just replaced the housing on my Nokia N80. The problem I have now is that the phone no longer responds to the slider movement. Everything on the phone works fine apart from when I open the slider it doesn't respond to the movement. Also when I close it, it no longer gives me the option of locking the keypad. How does the phone recognise the slider movement and what could I have missed. The new housing is Nokia branded and everything appeared to be idientical to the old.
Excellent! i had the same problem with the slider not getting recognized and took apart and put back together the phone several times. thanks to your post i finally found the problem (and luckily had a magnet from one of the old cases lying around)
