To transfer pictures from my Kodak easyshare M853 into album

Can you send me from a to z the instructions on how to hook up the device as I can not transfer the pictures off of my camera into easyshare (M853)

I had called once when I got my camera and the technician walked me through and now it is not connected to the easyshare.

It says there is no device unable to transfer pictures

What is the $9.99 for - If I have to look through manuals I am not going to have a monthly bill of $9.99. I just want my problem fixed. Because some device is not hooked up on my computer because the last time I called on the phone and the tech walked me through it. But some how I must of clicked on something and took it off.

My camera still will not transfer pictures to my computer. I called the help desk and they said I should go into clear utility and that does not work

What kind of a download is that you suggested above and takes 142 minutes to download. I don't think so. The manuel thing said that it might hurt my computer and I was not taking a chance. I have XP This will be my last request to see if you can help me if not then I will have to get a tech around here to fix this. If I keep on going with yous I will be here for 5 years the way it is going

I am tired of getting all of this information and nothing works. I am not going to go through all that to try and get disk. It will probable be another month before I get it. I do not understand you have to do all these items to try and get it to work. There must be one solution instead of dozens of them to try an fix the problem.

I am not happy with my kodak easyshare. When you receive it for a gift since Christmas and this problem is not fixed there is something wrong somewhere - I do not think that anyone knows what they are doing - they are just guessing and hope they hit it right. I will hire a tech around here and have them come and look at it and get done to the problem. This will be a 10 year project and never get resolved.

This $9.99 I spent on you people was worthless. Just a waste of money

    Whoops! Forgot the link!

Your manual can be downloaded here.

Lots of other helpful information for your camera is available here, including step-by-step guides, tutorials, troubleshooting and repair instructions. You can also get software downloads and buy accessories there.

    Right you are.

The piece you need to reinstall is here. Download and reinstall the EasyShare application, and it will recreate the data conduit from your computer to your camera. It is also a new version, which should hopefully prevent this problem from occuring again in the future.

    142 minutes != 5 years.

I believe Kodak would be obliged to send you the latest version of their EasyShare application on CD if you explain to them that you have a slower internet connection, and that it will take over 2 hours for you to download this software yourself.

I do stand by my statement that reinstalling this program will solve your problem.

Difficult in transferring of videos

If you have transferred your pictures successfully, your videos are also transferred.

Close the EasyShare software on your system tray (down by the clock).
Download apple quicktime by going to www.apple.com.

After you have installed it, open the software and add the videos by going to your my documents\my pictures\kodak pictures folder.

Can't transfer photos from computer to digital frame

Copying pictures from EasyShare software:

1. Install EasyShare software (free download at www.kodak.com/go/sw)

2. Connect the USB cable.

3. On your computer, open EasyShare software. Select the pictures in My Collection and drag them into the Picture tray.

4. In the menu bar, select File and then Copy to the Kodak Drive letter.

The picture frame appears as removable drives—one drive for each connected picture source in the frame, in this order: internal memory, memory cards, and USB devices.

5. Select the frame source to which you are copying.

6. Select Best for Digital Picture Frame to reduce the resolution of the pictures you are copying. Full resolution is unnecessary and quickly fills up the frame's memory.

7. Click Copy. Pictures are copied to your frame.

8. Unplug the USB cable and on the frame check the pictures that were just copied.
