When turning on laptop a message comes on fan erroe what should i do
You need to open up laptop and firstly check connections and lead to fan then check fan for dust and debris ,to check fan need to remove cover above it.check if fan freely spins if a bit sticky or stiff pull off plastic fan and clean off motor shaft.you wouldnt think so but hairs and stuff over a period of time accumulate there.with the pc turn on try to physically spin it .if nothing at all fan needs replacing.it could also be the power to the fan but this is unlikely for the mere fact that pc has detected problem in first place.
