How do I change inputs?

A better remote control is a Logitech Harmony remote. It will work every other component in your audio/video system and will never become obsolete. It programs from their website, so if you ever get a new TV or change brands of audio components, you simply revisit their website to program in the changes.

Hi, I would like you to try changing the input selection method for your TV. I suspect that some of the commands are incorrect.

1. In the software, click 'Settings' next to the icon for your TV.
2. Click 'Adjust Inputs'.

Make sure you select the method that best describes how the original remote changes inputs. Dont pay attention to the brand names. Also, make sure that the input list is EXACTLY the same in the software as on the TV itself.

Once you have done all of the input setup, update the remote and try it out again.

Let me know if that helps :)

I have harmonyH659, I am getting Cable when I push 'watch tv button'. But when I push 'more activities", I amnot getting my dish connection. Used to be OK for last 3 years. what do I do?

Changing the Input settings within an Activity:

1. Login to your Harmony Remote Account.
2. Click on the Settings button next the Activities you are having issues with.
3. Choose Review the settings for this Activity.
4. When the software asks What input does the TV need to be on, change these to the correct settings.
5. Continue through the setup until you are brought back to the Home Screen.
6. Click on the Update remote button and follow the on screen steps.
7. Once the update is completed, please test the Watch TV Activity.

Everything works except no picture of tv

The Television may be out of synchronization with your remote or may be configured incorrectly.

1. In front of your Television, press the Help button on your Harmony Remote.
2. Answer No when asked "Did that fix the problem?"
3. The Harmony will then ask, one by one, if all of your required devices powered on when the Activity was started. Answer Yes or No until all required devices are powered on.
4. Answer No if the remote asks if the TV is set to the correct input needed for the Activity. In this example Input 4 is used, though this may vary from your setup. If the TV switches to another input but no picture is seen, continue answering No until an image appears.
5. If you now have a picture on your TV screen, answer Yes when asked if the problem is now fixed. Your television was simply out of synchronization with your Harmony One and should now work correctly. Please try switching between your other Activities to see if they switch correctly. If this has not fixed the problem, proceed to the next section Confirming your Activity Settings.

To confirm your Activity Settings, please follow the steps below:

1. Launch the Logitech Harmony Remote software and login to your account.
2. Click on the Activities tab on your home page
3. Click on the Settings button for the Activity you wish to troubleshoot.
4. Select Review the settings for this Activity and click on the Next button.
5. Confirm the input chosen for your television is correct. Select No, I want to run the setup wizard again to change these settings and click on the Next button.
6. Click on the Next button through the Activity setup screens until you arrive at the screen asking the question "What input or channel does your ... TV need to be on? From the list, select the input that the TV uses for this Activity. Once finished, click on the Next button.

**NOTE: It is recommended to perform these steps for all Activities that use the television.

8. Click on the Done button on the Set Up Activities: Summary page.
9. Click on the Done button on the "Select the Activity settings you would like to modify" screen.
10. When you have finished, click Done to save your changes.
11. Click on the Update Remote button to update your remote.

I have a URC-1050BPB01 and an RCA TV. The remote will program correctly, but I am unable to change to the input channel to access my Gaming System...

I can help you with your URC-1050 Universal Remote Control issues.

The URC-1050 codes for RCA TVs are: 0047, 0019, 0018, 0090, 0679, 0747, 1047, 1147, 1247, 1347, & 1447.

For complete instructions on entering the URC-1050 remote codes, please refer to my posted Fixya Tip One For All URC-1050 Code Entry.

If you have incomplete control of all the functions of your TV with your remote with one code, move on to the next code in the list.

I hope that helps.
