AVG do not supply a driver update programme, I believe it is issued by a 3rd party, and this is more than likely what caused your computer to be compromised. You do not need a 3rd party software (especially a paid one) to update your driver as Windows update does a pretty good job of this for you. DO NOT REINSTALL THIS SOFTWARE!!! And I would advise you check your account that you used to pay for this software!
Here is the links that you need. try if it will work. if it doesnt work . maybe it not compatible with windows 2003. But atleast try it. theres no harm in trying.

AVG Video Driver - LINK

U might have to go to safe mode and remove avg since this sounds like corrupt drivers. Just tap F8 on reboot and choose safe mode and remove avg and then reboot to get back to normal mode and try reinstalling or go to download.com and find free one other than avg. There is lots of them rated by users and also tells you what windows are they compatible with.
hello:for the acer you can download all driver on there site acer.com and insted norton anti virus you have to remouved from your hard disk with the software uninstaller in configuratie and you can also download free software anti virus from avg select free not the other one and it works also fine . if you want format hd dont worry download first the drivers and avg . then instal windows again and after thad you put first the driver in then the avg you can put it on usb stick also about 2 mb space need
You might try restoring the system to a previous date. If you've done that and you still get the AVG error do a manual uninstall by deleting the program from your local hard drive (C:) then go into the registry using regedit(be careful doing this if you dont comfortable, then by all means do not attempt this step, you could possibly corrupt your operating system)type regedit in the "run" bar of the start menu . once opened search for AVG delete all of these strings, reboot and reinstall AVG. If this doesnt work we can go from there but this will most likley work.
Go to Compaq.com and donload the drivers look under support and pick your model number. then reinstall the drivers for your sound card You may also want to refresh installation of avg This will be easier than walking you through the settings and will disprove any other trial and errors before trying.
If you need more help downloading the drivers from compaq comment back and give us the model number we will try from there and post a link if possible.
