I want to access to streaming services and my wireless settings were lost I tried to reenter, but it won't take them

I have never had any trouble with a wd when I have done a firmware upgrade and I have 3 of them. I always do a reboot after an upgrade, so have you tried that. If this does not work, then
I would do as you suggest and start from scratch.

Denon AVR-1912 firmware upgrade failed

I'm having the same problem, Denon has taken down the firmware upgrade for yours ( and mine) AVR-1912. My receiver is also stuck in the update fail loop. Supposedly they will have it back up, but I don't know the timeframe.

Lots of others are having the problem with the firmware upgrade. Go to
http://www.avsforum.com/t/1334369/the-official-denon-avr-xx12-model-owners-thread/16380

and that should help you out, though I can't say how much. I've gone as far as resetting the microprocessor, but it keeps trying to update, and then fails...

Yamaha rx-v663 is there a firmware update to get hdmi 1.4a support ?

Unfortunatly there is not any firmware to upgrade your unit to a higher HDMI format. There is a firmware though that corrects the following symptoms.

1. In case of playback of some DTS-HD Master Audio stream, pop noise may be generated.
2. Test tone may not be output under specific YPAO condition.
3. When test tone is output from presence channel, surround R channel is simultaneously output when speaker settings are PRESENCE SP "EXIST" and SWFR "NONE".
4. Multi channel input setting will be reset after power off the unit, in case of setting "INPUT CH" to "8CH" and "FRONT" to "VCR" or "V-AUX".

Just downloaded a firmware upgrade (A64E_1065.zip) to my Sony STR-DA6400ES receiver and i get error message DSP COMM.VER.ERROR! I have tried re-installing but that fails

Find a solution that solve my problem : go to US sony website and download the firmware 1.062 released on 7/12/2011. If you're in Europe you have to rename the zip file like this : A64U_1062.zip renamed to A64E_1062.zip

Then upload it to ES Utility and do the update. After half an hour, shut down your receveir (even if blinking) and restart.

Result, no more message error and everything work fine now! Firmware installed : 1.066 (!)

i think the firmware 1.065 released by sony in november was totally corrupted...

Hope that help someone ++

Upgrade id disappeared

Hello
All these details are in its repair book. There are so many adjustments should be done, and all are described in detail in that book. I've the book, but aI can't send it to you by this window as it does not allow ma to upload PDF files by it. If you come over me by purchasing any one among the audio services advertised at Fixya, I'll send you both the user manual and repair book to you by return mail. The repair book is very usefull to you as it contains all the internal circuit details, schematics, possible repair and its remedies. OK.

If you are using a Mac and have Leopard (sys 10.5) You need to upgrade firmware on the H4 from Zoom website
http://www.zoom.co.jp/english/download/software/h4.php

Firmware upgrade failure

Try this for the reset
First turn the unit off then
hold down the "Pure Direct" and the "Direct" buttons on the display at the same time. And while you are still holding them down turn the unit on with the power button on the display.
this should reset the microprocessor.

You will need to put all custom settings back in.

Let me know if this helps.
