Question about Mitsubishi WD-65C9 65" DLP HDTV
We have a Sony Blue-Ray player hooked up via HDMI to out Mitsubishi 65" DLP HD tv. When the Blue-Ray is turned off, the screen is blue as normal, but as soon as we turn it on, the screen flickers between black and and the blue screen. There is no picture for the movie or blue-ray, but we get sound through our Bose stereo. I am thinking it's the cable, but I am not sure. When I unplugged the cable from the tv, it looked normal, but when I unhooked the cable from the blue ray player and it was still hooked up to the tv, the tv screen kept flickering again.

Something to remember is that most HDMI setups on TV's have what is called a DVI/HDMI port, I would suggest not using anything on that port that isnot converted from DVI to HDMI. I bet if you look, that HDMI 1 on yours....

if the tv is not a 1080p model it will not accept a blueray signal and the optical output from the tv only works thru its own tuner not with the inputs or cable boxes
