Sergio, thanks for your help. I went ahead and downloaded the driver and when it says connect Creative Live Cam Optia now and i plugged it but i keep getting same error on my USB port "One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and windows does not recognize it". My other external devices like my pen drive is working fine on these ports. Any idea? I appreciate it. By the way, i use windows xp version 2002 home edition Service pack 2

Hi, I have a TRUST WB-3400T 14383 and after I upgrade my OS to Win7 unfortunately this webcam is not recognized anymore by the OS. I downloaded specific driver from the TRUST support site (14383-02_02)....

please download the drivers for that webcam and it will start working some devices are pre-installed and thats the reason you don't have to install them by installing the new drivers your web cam will start working fine.

Can i download the software for the Logitech Quickcam Chat Webcam for Skype - Web camera - color - audio - USB i dont have the cd anymore and my driver isnt working anyway

Hi Steven!

You can download the driver from here (ALL Windows operating systems, 32-bit), or here (same, but for 64-bit systems).

It's highly recommended that you'll first uninstall the previous driver/software and unplug the camera from your computer.

Enjoy,
Pelu.

MY COMPUTER IS NOT RECOGNIZING MY WEBCAB ANYMORE. I CANT FIND THE START UP DISC EITHER.

check the cables and make sure they are all still plugged in.. Especially power to the webcam. Next unplug the usb connector and reboot the machine. then plug the webcam back into the computer. If that doesnt work then try the webcam on another computer. It could have died permanently.

Hi!i wanted to knw why is it shwing me tht "usb is not recognised" even after installing its drivers

it might mean that the USB ports on your computer need to have updated drivers so that it can recognize USB devices that get connected to it.

When I plug in the webcam, it says USB DEVICE NOT RECOGNIZED

These camera seem to be delicate. Call Microsoft support number that is on the documentation and they will send you another one. I did this and the replacement VX-3000 works perfectly.

Possible usb malfunction?

hi,
well xp is a better OS than 98 ( i think) ...
few things you should know that xp is pre-installed with lotsa drivers..but on the other hand 98 isn't .. so each time you put in a USB device you need to install the driver for that device( eg your camera, pen drive etc...) . this drivers would be there accompanied with your device.
hope it helps

Device not recognized

It seems that the camera has died and is probably the USB plug at fault. If your a computer savy, you can try to replace the USB plug and re solder the connections together. If off warranty, it is much more efficient to buy a new one.
