This is a high-performance specialized mouse. You will probably have to load drivers for it before it will work.

Mouse never wokred the computer says device is working properly it DOeS not work

Usually they work as soon as you use the cd and install it. You do need the right driver for the operating system you're using. If you don't have the install for the operating system search for micro innovations site and download it, usually under their support section.

Also double check the connections and make sure that the antenna isn't too far away from the mouse. It won't work if it is. Try moving it to another place and see if it works then.

If none of that helps then perhaps you have a defective mouse.

My computer stopped recognizing my wireless keyboard & mouse. Says it's missing a driver or that the device is malfunctioning. Don't think it's a battery prob. Do I need a new driver?...

Uninstall the Keyboard driver.
Unplug the Logitech keyboard.
Restart the computer.
Plug the Logitech keyboard back into the computer.
Windows should recognise the keyboard and/or the mouse.
Place Logitech setup disk in drive.
Reload the drivers...

The drivers sometimes corrupt themselves..
You might download the latest drivers for your keyboard/mouse.

Mouse and keyboard aren't working

have you tried downloading a newer driver for your computer? you might have to find drivers for both the mouse and your key board. make sure your numlocks is on for the keyboard to work, and make sure that in your control panel under hardware and sound check their for your mouse connections.

Keyboard, mouse problem

Assuming that your keyboard stops working when its on (same for mouse) then it means your machine will be frozen
  1. Try to give it time (around 3 mins) without doing anything letting it resolve the issue the keyboard should work on later. If this solve your problem then your computer is just slow bcoz of a virus, too many programs to load at start up, new software or hardware update.
  2. Try using a different keyboard when yopu boot up preferably a PS/2 keyboard,if this one works well then its means you nmeed to load new drivers for your keyboard and mouse
  3. Also try running chkdsk to clear your harddrive for errors.

Do i need a disk for mouse to work

Hey bigbufford,
You may want to search for the drivers from the manufacturers site if it's offered in the paperwork. If not, I have always found drivers by just typing in the brand, model and manufacturer on a Google search.

Here's the site I have used

Mouse not working

Go do device manager, under my computer properties. right click on the mouse have the hardware disk inserted and Click yes to allow it to search for new hardware. then in the next window click advance box the second of the two, now in the third window that shows up click the box that allows you to locate the file instead of having the computer find the correct one. there should be about 4 different drivers that show up after the computer searches the disk. Click the one that is called MID-Mouse. PM me for more help this is just a quick help maybe are to follow for some.

Re: wireless mouse and keyboard; mouse not detected

I bought the same combo from a parts house. The guy told me the mouse didn't work but didn't know why. I had the same problem. When I inspected the mouse closely, I found that the connect button on the bottom of the mouse had stuck underneath the housing...basically in the "connect position". When I freed it, the mouse worked and still works just fine. Hope this helps
