Question about Microsoft LifeCam VX-1000 Webcam
I am no able to reinstall LifeCam on my computer to run the camera, all files that i was able to take off the computer, i was able to take off all accept for one. I am not able to take it off and as a result the software won't install because of the version that is already installed. How can I resolve this problem? Please help!
You should uninstall through the control panel, add/remove programs really. As you dont seem to have done that, make sure you have unplugged your camera as it may still be using the file you want to remove. There are lots of other ways of doing it but much riskier to your system. You need to try this first. If you are happy to do it you can do it in safe mode. Press F5 or F8 when booting your pc until you get the option to boot into safe mode. This loads the basic amount of drivers to get you going and will allow you to remove any extra files. Be careful you dont remove anything that may make your system unstable. Files are often used for multiple purposes.
