you dont have a motherboard disk you will need to download the sound drivers hope this helps
If there is no sound card. Probably it was disabled the sound and maybe there is no really sound card was installed. To make it short buy a PCI sound card, turn off your computer and install the card to PCI slot and turn on your computer and your computer will detect that there is a found new hardware. Ignore it and insert the cd installer and install the driver of your sound card. If it's ask you to restart just restart your computer to update its system. In case that there is a built in sound on your computer check your motherboard model and search for the driver from their official website and download and install, if you download the correct driver it will automatically installed your sound and your sound will be working. Have a nice day!
Go to "About this computer" in configuration option, and it should say what brand sound card you have. At any rate, the idea is to find out the brand of your sound card and then download the driver that corresponds to your computer model from their web page. Solution two would be to de-install the driver from windows (device manager in system configuration), and it should automatically reload the driver from WIN32 file backup when you restart your machine. In the same window, is an option that searches for most recent driver. you could try that as well. For example, mine is Realtek Audio. At the Realtek website, I can choose your driver according to your computer brand and model (i.e., Acer Aspire 5100). Same for any other device (ATI graphics, Celeron, Turion processors, Bison Orbicam, etc.)
try downloading the audio driver and install it.
if you are using Sony VAIO PCV-J200 you can download your audio driver here
From a distance, it sounds like you do not have the sound card drivers installed. Since it is a SoundBlaster card, go to creative.com and download a utility that finds, indentifies, and then installs the drivers for your sound card. That should fix the problem. If not, then you have other issues going on with motherboard drivers not being installed installed.
can u install sound driver of your laptop if u have not install then install form the recovery cd or drvier & utility cd/dvd of your laptop its come with a laptop or if u have miss that cd then u need to download your sound driver
you need to install first your sound card then the computer will automaticall find driver for your soundcard. if no driver that is compatible to this, a window will show if you want to search from cd, drive c: and so on. you may go to the device manager look for this hardware then update the driver
Hi, if you have the original driver CD for your system then run the whole set up not just the audio.
If you donot have this CD then look inside your computer, locate the manufacturer and any model numbers you can see. go the manufacturers web page and download the latest drivers there.
