We are gettign this error on our Kodak 2500D scanner U18 REMAIND DOC. 18040000

    Thanks, but download to the system or to the scanner, we are gettign the error on the scanner display?

    Everything worked as you said but when I went to transfer the firmware to the scanner it gave me a error that said no device found? Anything else you can think of?

    scroll down page untill you see picture of i phone this will tell you how to install the firmware to the scanner ok let me know if you need further assistance ok its a bit technical but should be ok to follow i can show you the download but cant talk you through process as i would need the scanner in front of me ok but you should be able to do this if not you need to ask someone who can. let me know if you need further assistance or if you cant figure out how to install the firmware

    Hi again ive checked everywhere for your error code and as its not documented then the code will relate to a part failing on the board as the usual error codes for light problems and other related problems.
    Do you know when you first got the error code what was you doing with the scanner like was you scanning or starting to scan?
    Let me know and i can rule a few problems out then ill let you know more ok

    Hi i found this bot of info relating to your exact error code so give this a try and hopefully your problem will be resolved.
    That error represent a document still in
    the scan path. You will probably find there is no paper in the scanner.
    I tried this and it works every time. On the top of the scanner there
    is an access door. You will find this just above the discharge rollers.
    Open that door and either blow air in the compartment or blow hard
    using your mouth to clear dust. Close the door. That should resolve the
    problem. It is my guess that dust collects on sensors and the scanner
    is tricked into thinking there is paper in the path.

    So it looks like the problem is with sensors on the scanner being covered in dust blow all dust off as desribed then you might find your problem solved.
    If the problem is still their then it could be that the sensors themselves need replacing.
    But just make sure you get all the dust off these sensors ok by a spray can that sprays air out this will dispurse the dust and hopefully get it working again.
    If you cant get air can the just blow really hard and do this a few times and test scanner after everytime.
    But turn off at plug before you do this so the scanner can reset itself hopefully resetting the sensors.

When I go on-line, I receive this message ''RUNNER FILE ERROR''


Probably was uninstalled already. 2 solutions:
1.Right click on My Computer select Explore
Select C; click explore again
Select Program Files folder, explore
Find the kodak Program and Delete
the folder.
2. Go Start y type MSCONFIG in RUN or Search
hit enter, a window will appear on
your screen in the tab "STARTUP"
un-check the line that contents
Kodak application. Press OK and
Re-Start the computer.

Canon scanner, when I scan and open doc in office word its all jumbled and I cant edit.System Windows Vista home prem. thanks


Check the resolution of your scanner because this would effect what you see on your computer monitor. Maybe using a lower resolution would work for you or try scanning complex images as pictures. Good Luck

I accidently Switched My Display to PCI Settings in the BIOS Settings in my computer. Now the display of my monitor is off but my Computer is running


With computer disconnected for elecctric,Go into machine. Disconnect the battery. Reconnect the battery. Start computer back up gettign back into the startup routine and change it back.

Its saying pixel shader not available


Hello,

I assume that you are gettign this error message when you try playing a game. Pixel Shader is a part of the video driver of the computer and cannot be installed separately. It comes all the geforce4 and higher video cards. If you are not using these cards, you may have to upgrade the video card to resolve the issue. If your video card falls into this category, you need to reinstall the video driver.
