-   I got the BB + dongle(e.d) driver download but when it finished downloading and went to install I got a message saying I had to have Microsoft Media Center running, and according to Microsoft I don't have that and it onlc comes with Visa (and I'm running XP). Can I only run this software (Microsoft Media Center) with Vista, or is there a version that will run with XP. Can anyone help?-   kban09

-   I just attempted to install the Adobe Flash Player software to enable me to view .mwv attachments in my e-mail. Unfortunately, the installation requires the BB+ Dongle driver as well, which appears to be unavailable directly on the web. I'm surprised Adobe doesn't make it available!
Where and how can I get this driver? Thanks!-   rinanal

-   Ditto! My remote scrolls forever and when it started up the system asked for the driver. So far Dell is no help and unable to find the driver.

The "BB + Dongle(e.d)" is for an IR remote control. The driver is included in Microsoft Media Center. For it to work you must either have Vista or WinXP Media Center Edition, which is a distinct version of WinXP and must be purchased. Don't bother trying to get the driver from your computer manufacturer, they won't have it and any tech support person you speak with won't have any idea what you're talking about.

Has anyone found a solution for this problem? I have the same. I am trying to add a receiver and remote to work with my tv tuner but I can't find a driver for the BB + dongle(e.d). I have had two dell techs work on it for a total of 5 hours and now they want to reinstall my xp media center to see if that will help. Do you think it will help? Is it worth it?
Thanks,
Mary

Sounds like the same problem I'm having with a client of mine, they went and downgraded to xp from vista home, and poof don't. the system keeps looking for BB+Dongle(e.d) drivers. anyone know where to find them?
