Question about HP Deskjet F340 All-In-One Printer

Hp F340 all-in-one

I uninstalled every possible connection to the printer/copier/scanner, tried again about 10 times and still doesn't work, keeps giving me that error......

You forget I was on the phone with the INDIAN people for several hours off and well as on line chat room. I'm not a total novice, but still can't get it to work.

    I can**t get my HP f340 to print out from Microsoft word or word pad 07.

    I have Vista on my Dell. When I go to print anything I have typed a blank page come out of the printer. But it prints out anything from email or the internet.

    I have called HP and they gave me a command that didn;t work; I have contacted Dell but got ** help there; and microsoft wants $50 to fix it!

    Can anybody just give me a simple solution??

How are you connecting the all-in-one to the computer? If it is a wired connection that has worked in the past, try a new data cable. Scanners require bi-directional communication with the computer. Can you launch a scan from the computer? What OS are you using on the computer?

Did you install the full software from HP? The software is available here: . The buttons will only work if the full software is installed, the destination and defaults are set in the software and a monitor program is running. If installed, lauch HP Solution Center and try to scan. If you get no scanner, then you may not have completed the installation. This may require using a wired USB connection and then installing additional drivers.

If you connected the USB cable before installing the software, uninstall the driver and then disconnect the data cable. Restart the computer and install the HP software then connect the USB cable again.

My F340 won't scan

Uninstall your driver for scanning and reload it again and check for eny updates .You can also make sure that your scanner is selected

Hp f340 will not scan

Scanner: Hi there, " Unplug the Scanner cable from the computer. " Unistall the Scanner drivers from Device manager and also unistall the all the Scanner appications " restart the computer " try to download drivers from the website " after installing drivers and software it will ask you to connect the Scanner. " then you can connect the Scanner and and try to Scan.

the software was not completely installed, that's why. do a complete uninstallation first of the said program/software driver and then restart computer, then do a complete installation this time.

Connecting one printer to two computers

start, settings, printers, right click printer you are wanting to share out. Click on properties.Click "sharing" tab. Click on network setup wizard. Follow the instructions from there. You should be able to print to the printer from another computer once your computer network is setup to share resources like printer or internet connection.
