Nikon l11 and mac drivers

I need to move some pics from a nikon coolpix l11 to a mac i-book with OX. is there a driver that I can download from the internet for free? i have no cds of the camera's drivers. thanks marga

You can download the drivers from here. On the page, it says that the driver is only supported by Windows, though I'm pretty sure it works with Mac as well. I think the driver you need is PTP. There's also a setting in the camera for this, just change it in the Set Up > Interface > USB menu. Can't say this is 100% the solution, since I don't have a Mac system available to me.

iPhoto should not require any drivers for OSX. Have you hooked the camera up the the iBook?
