Do you have any idea what this would cost aproximately?

The power supply is having difficulty. The typical cause is
underated electrolytic capacitors. I would examine all the caps
(round cylindrical cans) in the power supply and see if any of them are
bulged. Not a bad idea to just replace all of them with better
These type of caps have all kinds of specs. Not just voltage and capacity, but also temperature, case size, and obtuse stuff like dissipation factor. Most all power supplies use switching type designs that run at serious frequencies (not the old 60 hz - more like 25,000hz) that stress out these electrolytic caps and many circuit designers (or their cheap bosses) don't specify the better parts. Replace them with the same capacitance, but higher voltage, and higher temp parts (hopefully they will not be too big physically).
Ya, I know you paid $$$ for this TV and they scrimped on cheap parts. Yup, the more expensive a product is, the more pressure the bean counters put on keeping the price down.
Hope Ya Fix It.
