You can just click and drag individual file or folders to your cd or dvd and windows will burn (copy) them. What I normally do is I check the size of the items that I want to copy so I'll know exactly how many disks (cd or dvd) i will need. Have fun!
Small CD-ROM disks, or the 3.5-inch "floppy" ("stiffy") disks?
If your computer does not have an "internal" 3.5-inch drive, you can buy an "external" drive with a USB connection. Expensive!
Or, get a friend with an "internal" drive to copy the files (up to 1.4 Megabytes) and send the files to your E-mail ID.
