Can't hear anything on my 9400 unless i put speaker phone on

I have had the phone for about 9 months now and have not had any problems with it and then yesterday I could not hear anything..So I put the speaker phone on and I could hear again, but I don't want to have to use my speaker all the time so everyone can hear my conversations.I don't know what caused this??Nothing happened to it. I didn't drop it or get water on it or anything.. Any suggestions???

You have a bad speaker. Problem is you can't replace just the speaker. The only solution is to replace the entire phone at your service provider

You can try to put your headphones on and see if they can hear you without screaming. You might have a problem with your speakers.

Can't hear callers voice unless phone is put on speaker phone. The built in hearing piece dosen't seem to work? Is this a setting problem

Hello,

This is not a setting problem, the problem is that the earpiece of your phone is bad that is why you cannot hear callers voice.

The speaker you put it is for the ringer, it does not have anything to do with earpiece and you can hear your caller through it.

To fix your earpiece problem because you cannot be putting your phone on speakers always because atimes you will want privacy.

To fix the earpiece problem, you will need to replace the earpiece on your phone in other for you to hear your caller. just change the earpiece as advice and you will see that the problem is solve.

Take care.

My headset is grounded

pushing the jack hard may result in some connections pushed way off, and there is no contact to the speaker. Please see the nearest technician.
