My hp desk jet f 380 is showing up off line, and also when it prints, its printing things off from months ago.. What can I do???

Hp desk jet 380 won't stop blinking


Almost the same...difference that it printing anyway, even I see this E and inc lamp blinking....I know it was color cartridge left and dried out, but software tells that color cartridge is "connected not properly". Cleaned contacts...refilled ink....tried all buttons combinations...maybe, I need somehow to "null" this printers "brain"?

You can try following steps.

1. Refresh the Spooler.
To refresh the spooler, Go to Start, and in start search box or Run, type services.msc and press enter.
Now Remove the USB cable from the back of the printer.
Now on Services window, search for Print Spooler.

once found,
Make a right click on it and select Stop
Then Again make a right click on it and select start.
Perform the steps Stop---start 3 times.
Once done, close the services window.
Then steps to be done on the printer.
Press the Power button for 30 seconds while the Power cable remains out.
Then insert the Power cable. And power ON the printer, if it does not Turn ON automatically.
If the issue still persists, please post back.

Can not print from hp desk jet 6840 after reconnecting to compute


re install the whole program/driver for the said printer, restart computer and then install the software again anew.

fot resolve this issue you should try that get a self test print ,( demo print) if it is good you have a software problem and also you should install the dirvers . if the demo test print is not good you have a hardware problem about carriage and ink system and you have to replace the carriage system.

check whether its printing the test page properly directly from the printer not from the pc.for that print

1)just ON the printer
2)press the ON button
3)do not leave the ON button and lift the cover of the printer completely up and down 4times.
4)if you want to change the cartridges which front cover you will lift ,that you have to lift 4times up and down by pressing the ON button ,then leave the ON button the printer test page will come out of the printer .
5)keep the paper in the tray.
6)check that printout if its proper the printer is perfect
7)if the print is improper then the printer is having some problem.
8)also try changing the cartridges and see if its same or better prints comes out.

The far left orange light is f;alshing and my printer wonlt print at all.

Previous to this happening it was printing sheets and sheets of one line rubbish !
