maybe the software you installed for your laptop touchpad is playing up,uninstall and re install.ps make sure no arrow buttons are sticking!

could be that the remote operation or cycle operation needs reprogramming as it indicates that the program has a corruption in it and the action is lost by that corruption
follow the user manual and do the reprogram sequence

the only way you can solve this problem is to hard boot the power by pressing and holding it for 8 secs with the battery and cables removed. If you can tear down this laptop and reseat the power supply and the heat sink, the beep will be minimized. Otherwise repair this laptop by contacting HP.

Prepare to Diagnose the Computer
Perform the following actions to prepare the computer for troubleshooting a startup problem.

1. Remove the battery and AC adapter from the notebook.
2.Remove any optical disks (CD or DVD), and disconnect any external devices or peripherals such as USB devices, printers, docking stations etc.
3.Plug the AC adapter directly into a functioning wall socket.
4.Press the Power button to turn on the computer.

NOTE:After the battery, optical media and peripherals are removed, the Notebook PC may startup normally. If this occurs see Windows starts after the battery, optical media and peripherals are removed .

Try to boot up in safe mode, press F8 (during the startup), in safe mode unistall whatever you installed before and restart the pc
