Trayapp keeps poping up. how can i get rid of this?

Hello there, to get rid of it the first thing you have to do is determine what it does on your unit as definitely it is meant to support one of the programs you are running on your PC.Secondly as you dont know exactly what it runs i would give you a temporary fix. Go to the task bar(This is the strip at the bottom where you have your icons) right click on it and select start task manager. When you start the task manager click on processes and from the list search for trayapp and click on end process. this should stop it from popping up.
Hope this solution has been helpful?

Insert the printer CD to the PC, close the window that opens automatically.
Open My computer icon, locate the CD\DVD drive and then right click and then select Explore, that would show CD contents, Open Setup folder, in the setup folder open Folder named Trayapp, in that folder you have a file named Trayapp.msi, right click on that trayapp.msi and then select the option repair, restart the PC and then check for the error, any clarifications please comment.....

TrayApp wants to be installed after booting up computer

Go to start>run> type in msconfig> see if there is an entry for the TrayApp, if there is unchek the box next to it.

Do you have a multifunction HP Printer?
Is so stick in your cd and try to re-install
Also:
Do you have Novell on your PC:
trayapp.exe is a Novell iFolder belonging to Novell iFolder from Novell, Inc.
Seems like most applications have a "TrayApp" installer, hopefully the above will help you.
You can go into the registry and find it, but try this first.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe
