You have probably just used the wrong cable, connection, or setting.

What source do you have connected to your TV?

SOURCE: JVC LT-32DA20J lcd TV. Unable

Hello
Check the antenna connection at antenna socket of the TV for any loose. If there is any loose contact, the signals get into the tuner section of the TV will be very weak, resulting no colour to picture. If picture and sound is there, and there is only fault with colour, surely it will be due to weak signal strength. Try to reorient the outdoor antenna; if used. If cable is connected, contact the cable provider and ask him to measure the signal strength at the end of cable connected to to TV. OK.

No power, no picture

Check power cord; check the outlet you are using to make sure it really has power available to it. Does the power indicator light come on when you switch the set on? If not, then, as above, check for power and check for fuse port in back of set. But, if this is a 20 inch set it is not a RPTV, you are in the wrong category....... Cheers.

JVC LT-24HD32J - "Database Empty" after a 12 mile move. How to fix?

If the television was unplugged for very long, it may have cleared its memory. Being unable to find any channels may indicate that the unit has defaulted to cable tv mode and may require some changes in the setup menu. In the menu, there should be a category for channels where you can change the type to "over the air" rather than cable. Additionally, since all television have now gone digital, most stations now broadcast at about half the power they used to. If you live close enough to get a signal above the required threshold, you get a great picture. If not, no picture at all.

Model #_LT52152, when turn on TV no sound, sometimes picture frozen and sometime cannot change channel. Help!

Sounds like a firmware corruption. Contact the authorized service centre for Mitsubishi. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Viewing it in "Mosaic" will make surf easy.

I would either call JVC to see if known issue or to inquire if set has a lockout feature that kills remote and all button features----other possible reason in main board with all micro functions has a problem.

Hi mfaille
I`m going to help you with your setup but first;
Which connection are you using from the sat receiver to the tv?
Coax / standard rg6 cable?
Did you try to manually add(in the menu/tuner setup/find channel/add) the channel you need ?

No Picture

I am deeply sorry but you will need to replace the backlight bulbs. These are not available.

Look on Ebay for a 32" JVC with a broken LCD Screen. Buy it and use these bulbs to fix your TV. I am sure there will be a few good ones in the broken TV. It's that or list it on Ebay for $50 and expect to get about 200-300.

LCD Panel repair for this problem is $500 for parts so you are stick with repair yourself or sell.

RECORDING PROBLEM

Connectivity problem. Without knowing your models and their available channels etc., it's very difficult to advise you exactly.
Broadly though ...... you need to get the input signal routing sorted.
Plug your aerial into the Freeview box. Make a connection from its RF out, (beside the aerial 'in' socket) to the aerial 'in' socket on the JVC. Run yet another co-axial connection from the JVC RF 'out' to the television.
Now - connect a scart lead between the JVC and the TV. Power off the freeview. Switch your TV to accept A/V - to show the JVC on screen. Read/go through the 'Set up' procedure on the JVC to scan in the available broadcast channels. When done - connect using a scart between the Freeview box and the JVC. This will be located on either the L1 or L2 channel selection.
IF as it seems you are using the freeview to watch all your programmes - and record in then you are simply watching and recording 'live' change the Freeview programme and the JVC gets that same one arriving in (and sending to the TV)
Unless you need to record Freeview only output - always record from the aerial input. You select via the television remote (and 'TV' selected) and the appropriate channel.
Complex to explain - hope it helps. The one thing to remember - is to make one set of changes at a time - check the result is okay, before moving to the next.
