Question about Sony Hi8 CCD-TRV138 Camcorder
If your getting a reel error, then the chances are the reel assy is ok. Most likely the reel sensor is defective and must be replaced by a tech. A reel failure will result from the reel table not turning in a specified amount of time, so a motor not running, bad connections @ the main board or a defective tape can produce the same failure.
