Joystick My sony ericcson k510i mobile phone joystick not working properly.What i do for it.

try connecting your phone to the Computer with a USB and resetting the phone that way.

However, It's a known complaint in SE K510i. Get checked it in a nearest Sony Ericsson Service center. It may costs around $2 - $4 if not under warranty.

press left joystick button then start to type then select u're receiver or type her/his number then send

use a usb cord n reset it from your cpu

you have to clean the joystick by using contact cleaner. open the cover of joy stick, there is a switch inside it having a metallic cover. use contact cleaner and let it for few minutes.
DONT FORGET TO REMOVE LCD FIRST. it can be damage with contact cleaner. i had a bad experience of it.
btw it happens with sony ericsson phone joystick problem.if joystick problem still persist u have to show it to sony ericsson repair centre or your warranty center of mobile.and u can also use the keys your keypad keys for up down left right.

Remove the back panel, remove the battery, and put the battery back in again. No data's lost. Just done it and it works.

This is the common problem of a joystick is need to replaced including the keypad and also clean the board ,so it will works better again.

my experience.. if the joystick of the sony erickson goes wrong i replaced it by another joystick.... or contact your service provider
